Talk Too Much

I saw you sitting in the disco dringin Cola you smiled at me
Then I saw that boy beside you and I wanted to go away
But your smile, it was so inviting so I asked for your company
then I learned that he's your brother. He was here to drive you home

Didn't want to talk so much the first time that I talked to you
Now I know this was the last time, I won't see you again, girl.
I have seen, he drank too much. I should have know, he'd drive to fast.
But I didn't realize the danger that you were in

So we sat and we heard the music and your brother drank one more beer.
We were laughing, found each other in a world full of harmony
I remember I touched your fingers and your smiling encouraged me.
then your brother took the carkey He stood up, you had to leave me.

Didn't want to talk so much the first time that I talked to you
Now I know this was the last time, I won't see you again, girl.
I have seen, he drank too much. I should have know, he'd drive to fast.
But I didn't realize the danger that you were in

Now I stand here in the graveyard. In the distance the preacher speaks
How I wished that we had seen him on another cause than this
Until now I still can't believe it that you died on that evening.
How I wish, we'd seen the danger It was silly to drink and drive

Didn't want to talk so much the first time that I talked to you
Now I know this was the last time, I won't see you again, girl.
I have seen, he drank too much. I should have know, he'd drive to fast.
On this day we lost our future We will never be laughing and talking again.

Entstehung
